I’m not saying ALL are like that, but it seems that most I meet are against environmental protection. This confuses me, since doesn’t the Bible state that God wants humankind to be good stewards of his creation?

im not. Ive been recycling for 23 yrs and ive planted many trees and trying to save one now that doesnt look good.. pray for it
I think they don’t see the connection with the world’s poor. Climate change causes natural disasters like hurricanes and floods that affect those least able to recover from them, and God is pretty clear in the Bible on how we are supposed to care for the poor.
The worst offenders of destroying the environment, are major international corporations that pollute waterways and the skies. You aren’t mentioning them, hmmm……..
Probably because it goes against big business – headed by Republicans/conservatives.
Their true god, money, is what they really worship. Being environmentally sound isn’t as profitable.

that depends on what you cinsider environmental protection. those i know recuycle, own property in the northern region of michigan to ensure it stays forests, camp, fish – everything that is nature friendly. most, hwoever don’t buy into the BS of “global warming”
